Two articles by Dagens Industri

First out was a two side article about 17 of may (national day in Norway) and Sverige-Norge.se. It was printed in the newspaper but you can read a copy of the article on Sverige-Norge.se website.

Then the online magazine, DI.se, did another interview about the differences between Norway and Sweden concerning salaries.

6 events of celebration

First out was Entreprenörsskapsjakten, by Gustaf Josefsson, where I together with KVD.se (Kvarndammen) was judging a section when the competitors tried to come up with creative solutions to use social media for attracting new customers. The results were in great variety but overall very good and creative! The winners were Entreprenörspartiet with Lisa Lindgren, Ludwig Jonsson & Adrian Swartz.

Later at the night it was time for celebration with Idéfestivalen and Idégalan.

The day after I was spontaneously invited by my friend Johannes Hansen to attend and coach competitors in Hjärna, Hjärta, Cash, a competition that last for 48 hours and was about creating social entrepreneurship. The ideas were great and I’m looking forward to follow them to real business ideas.

After that it was time for Stockholm and SM in Ung Företagsamhet. A two day long event with incredible ideas and energy that refreshed your whole body. One of the days was meant for a national board meeting which I was attending. The winner was Bolsa UF.

One of the speakers for the opening ceremony was the Swedish prime minister, Fredrik Reinfeldt, which I, Viktor Nord, offcourse had to say a few words to.

Young Entrepreneurs of Sweden was represented by former UF-students Joakim Bank, Emma Knaggård Wendt, Erik Fjellborg and Per Anderberg Almhorn. Unfortunately I, Viktor Nord, am not a former UF student.

After that I went to Örebro to my friends Mikael Blix and Johan Berglund at Sportion to attend their yearly office party with a lot of familiar faces.

Then it was time for the 17 of may celebration in Oslo which last for a couple of days. I envy the Norwegian passion for the national day!

Here is my partner and better half Christian Josefsson and me Viktor Nord in the middle of Oslo. Take care so long!

Profile of Stenungsund

Young Entrepreneurs of Sweden, Ung Företagsamhet and me was posted in this month newsletter from Profil Stenungsund. Profil Stenungsund is a foundation with representatives from the industrial/business life and the commune, such as Borealis Group and Hogia, in Stenungsund. The purpose of the foundation is to strengthen the trademark of Stenungsund.

ProfilStenungsund_I wanted to make the original pdf a bit more sexier so I learned the new 3D option in Photoshop CS4. Nice, isn’t it?

Victoria’s Secret or Viktor’s Secret?

Today me and Christian spend two hours taking photos for a campaign. A highly ineffective day but it was quite fun. The photographer told us he usually only shoots girls from Victoria Secrets but made an exception for today. I will try to put some of the pictures up when I get them. Tomorrow will be more focus on our clients and the redesign for the user-interface.

3 big entrepreneurs under 25 from Sweden

Marcus Anzengruber, Viktor Nord, Ida Backlund, Mattias TyrbergMarcus Anzengruber, Viktor Nord, Ida Backlund, Mattias Tyrberg. Picture taken by a great photographer johannanyholm.com

Marcus Anzengruber

I had the opportunity to meet and compete against three very promising young entrepreneurs a while ago. First out was Marcus Anzengruber, 20 years old and founder of Constant. A very clever and nice young man. He has 14 employees and told me he was hiring as much as 2 more employees every month! Incredible!

Ida Backlund

Then I met one of Sweden’s most promising female business leader, Ida Backlund, born the fantastic year of 1985. Founder of Rapunzel. It took me approximately 10 seconds from the first time I spoke to her to realize that she is a person everyone likes. Big congrats to her boyfriend Stefan Löfgren!

Mattias Tyrberg

Then last I meet Mattias Tyrberg the founder of Saplo. This is one of the smartest guys I ever met with an cocky attitude. He told me he was going to buy Google in a few years because his business idea and research was that good. I like it!  Together with the researcher Sverker Sikström they developed a technology which automatically can read and understand text in similar way as we humans do.

I have no doubts that these three young entrepreneurs will continue to do BIG things and I wish them all my best of luck!
