Charlotte Lindeberg (Svenskt Näringsliv), Gustaf Josefsson (YEoS), Sofia Appelgren (MittLiv & Wild'n Fresh)
I think you can imagine how happy Gustaf Josefsson was a few days ago when he arranged a meeting between YEoS, Svenskt Näringsliv and Sofia Appelgren as a speaker, just look at the picture! Sofia spoke about her wild story between her restaurant Wild’n Fresh and the public trade union. If you have the opportunity to listen to her, do it! Or buy her book.
Nowadays she runs a company called MittLiv which fights for equal rights for young people with a background from foreign countries.
The discussions were great and I think everyone got something out of this event. I also met this young entrepreneur: Sebastian Stjern – A really inspiring guy and founder of The Fair Tailor (in Nepal) which make fair trade and ecological fine custom-made shirts. They also employ persons who due to their past are unlikely to be employed anywhere else – e.g. adult former street children.
He also runs a really great blog for Swedish entrepreneurs called Entreprenörsbloggen – check it out!

Swedish media “Dagens Industri” wrote an article today about how Microsoft will try to get around 1 million swedish businesses to upgrade to Windows 7. Thomas Floberg have that mission. I would say good luck, even though I really like the new windows! A funny thing is that they have bought a whole episode of the tv-serie Family Guy. I’m looking forward to see that episode.

Marcus Anzengruber, Viktor Nord, Ida Backlund, Mattias Tyrberg. Picture taken by a great photographer johannanyholm.com
I had the opportunity to meet and compete against three very promising young entrepreneurs a while ago. First out was Marcus Anzengruber, 20 years old and founder of Constant. A very clever and nice young man. He has 14 employees and told me he was hiring as much as 2 more employees every month! Incredible!
Then I met one of Sweden’s most promising female business leader, Ida Backlund, born the fantastic year of 1985. Founder of Rapunzel. It took me approximately 10 seconds from the first time I spoke to her to realize that she is a person everyone likes. Big congrats to her boyfriend Stefan Löfgren!
Then last I meet Mattias Tyrberg the founder of Saplo. This is one of the smartest guys I ever met with an cocky attitude. He told me he was going to buy Google in a few years because his business idea and research was that good. I like it! Together with the researcher Sverker Sikström they developed a technology which automatically can read and understand text in similar way as we humans do.
I have no doubts that these three young entrepreneurs will continue to do BIG things and I wish them all my best of luck!

Jonas Gahr Støre (Norges utrikesminister) was a guest in swedish radio this summer and talked about how importent it is with Swedish workforce in Norway and mentioned Sverige-Norge.se.
“Hjemmesiden på internett som heter Sverige-Norge.se ær ett tegn i tiden. En tjeneste for svensker som vil arbeide i Norge, og di er mange – Utan svensk arbetskraft stannar Norge.”

Today I’ve got a call from Frøydis Braathen, a reporter at Aftenposten in Norway. We had a great talk about how trendy it is for swedish people to work in Norway. The talk resulted in a nice article.
Here is the article in paper:
